Love looking around foreign supermarkets when on holiday and markets, especially fruit markets!

Some good selections and some weird. For example the fig snack and the sparkling water no one choose them 😅. Lacta and ion are the best chocolate brands in Greece and for me some of the best in whole continent. Many friends from abroad have tried those chocolates and all responded that were great. Pronunciation of Tsakiris chips is right. Merenda is greek Nutella and is better in bread than snacks. If you like dark chocolate definitely have to try pavlidis one's. Caprice rolls are by far better if you let it freeze for hours into the fridge. I think that we have great snacks but many of them can be very unusual and weird like pasteli, loukoumi, halva, masticha and so many more. For croissants molto and Champion brands are very famous. For Biscuits all kinds of Papadopoulos brand and allatini is a good option.

Masticha is a natural gum that comes out of a bush in the Greek island of Chios. It has the form of a tear. We use it either as a gum or we smash it and we use it in different sweats

Guys, you are fantastic! Nice pronunciation of Greek words! The chocofreta is called / soko'freta/ and the mastic /ma'stiha/ in Greek. I don't like it myself so much but in some products it's really delicious. It is collected from mastic trees which are cultivated in the Mastic Villages (Mastihohoria) on the island of Chios and are under the protection of the state as something unique. In addition to confectionery, mastic is also used in cosmetics and soap making. Since ancient times it has been considered healthy, healing and deeply therapeutic. See Mastic (plant resin) - Wikipedia.
