iPhone X vs XS: Big Difference! (2022)

After using the iPhone X and iPhone XS for a long period of time, here's my honest opinion on whether they are worth buying or not, in 2022.

I just changed from an X to an XS and I can confirm, the difference is significant. The screen isn’t the same though. The iPhone X had tremendous screen issues, just as mine. The XS is significantly faster in processing speed + face ID.

I just bought an iPhone X and I'm happy with it but I wish I bought the Xs instead. The camera difference is real, the over-exposed highlights is really noticeable on the X and it was completely fixed on the Xs with Smart HDR, it takes better photos at night than the X and the Xs introduced a much faster auto focus because some X devices had problems with focus in videos (I think it has a completely upgraded camera system). The Xs supports the new camera interface that was introduced with the iPhone 11, plus the Live Text feature which is really useful. And 1GB ram and 8-core neural engine will make it more future proof than the X. And with the X i notice a drop in performance when i turn on Low Power Mode. So, i encourage everyone who is in the market for the X to go for the Xs instead. it's really worth it.

I bought an iPhone X late last year and I love the phone. Everything works great and performance and battery life is excellent. However, I've found myself going back to my Pixel 3a lately because the camera is simply much better. Not that the X's is bad by any means, but after being used to photos from a Pixel, it was hard to switch to a camera that was not quite as good, especially in low light. Other than that, though, I absolutely love the X.

I have an iphone 11 at this moment and it’s surprising to me how just a few generations ago the battery life wasn’t so good. I can get 8 hrs screen time on my phone and the X and XS can only get 4 hrs

I had an iPhone X but it’s Wi-Fi and Bluetooth stopped functioning after 4yrs. So exchanged for another one. That X was seriously a groundbreaking change after many years. So I wish to keep that design and ordered for a refurbished Xs 😃 Your content quality is just stellar brother ❤

One thing u missed…. The camera module on the back is slightly larger on the Xs than the X… so actually not all iphone X cases may fit on the Xs depending on the camera cutout

I mean when the battery has aged passed 80% yes but with my Xs I’m averaging over 5-7 hours screen on time with moderate usage so it just depends on the person ig

I currently use the iPhone X. I actually purchased this phone in 07/2018. I wish my prior phone (iPhone 5s) lasted a little bit longer for me to wait and buy the iPhone XS upon release but it completely died on me and was in very poor condition after 4-5 years of use and I needed a replacement fast. My iPhone X is reaching that age however the built quality is amazing and compared to the iPhone 5s it was able to maintain its physical condition. Moving forward I prefer stainless steel over aluminum because I have sweaty palms so previous models would rust and damage over time but I do not have this problem with my X!

And actually, since they have oled screens, you can get those extra 30 minutes of battery in the xs just by turning dark mode on tho
