Honestly pretty funny how the lack of 3D touch was a turn off bacl then but now none of the new iphones have it and the old ones basically had the functionality disabled

Turn on true colour in iphone xr it will look more white go to settings display and brightness and then turn true colour to on

3d touch seems to me so gimmicky lol... Maybe because I'm from Android.

I don't see any huge advantage over haptic touch, you just save a click from opening a new tab (or like a specific function in an app) or wait like+ 0.2s more (compared to 3dT) for the tool to pop up.
