That’s why you don’t live in a megacity and live in a small town outside the city

Yeah, Minneapolis is awesome. Be ready to be the coldest you've ever been in the winter, though

Lol, in the 60's, in Yorkville UES NYC i rented a 5 room walk-up railroad apartmennt, very clean and well maintained, for less than 20% of my modest monthly take home pay. Of course heat was included. There was a door to the hall in the front room (living room) and a door into the hall from the 20 foot kitchen at the other end of the apartment. I turned the smallest of the 3 small rooms in between into a spacious closet, one into an office, one served as the bedroom, I could sllep a guest in the living room.

Cincinnati is genuinely not bad, just overlooked due to being in Ohio.

When did Carrie Bradshaw have “beauty” though? I never saw any evidence that she had any. frfr

Two main factors behind this is greedy landlords and greedy business owners.
Making rent increasingly high and refusing to increase worker pay or benefits.
