Didn’t expect you to take “catching a red-eye” that literally! Get well soon Kelsey ;)

Kelsey this video was SO good. The editing, the humor, the pacing. Chef's kiss.

Glad you are ok and you got the quick attention you needed even for a minor injury. THANKS for the video! ALWAYS love watching them.

Welcome to Brazil, Kelsey! I'm sorry you went through the whole eyelash situation. Hope you get better soon!

love your channel. I was married to a 747 freighter captain and have never lost my love of airplanes. I live under a flight path which sends me outside in all weathers. Keep up the good work.

Wow, Great Vlog, Kelsey! Was fantastic to see the freighter B747 from inside. Stay awesome ❤✈

This is the perfect way for Kelsey to “take us flying” without having to worry about flying for himself.
Thank you for this but hope your eye is doing better than it did.

Hi Kelsey! I’m from São Paulo/Brazil and just saw your latest video. Apparently your stay here was not such fun. Hope you are feeling better and get to come back someday so you can actually enjoy our beaches. Love your channel man. Great content. Greetings from Brazil.

The transition of the elevator doors opening to a shot of you entering your hotel room was DOPE AS HELL!

I’m from São Paulo and when he said “welcome to São Paulo, Brazil” I couldn’t help but let out the girliest one could imagine 😂😂 it’s always so fun and weird when foreigners mention us/here

Get well soon.

Thankfully that's an easy thing to deal with. Shouldn't be much problem after the errant lash is removed.

Eye lash in the eye sucks! Had that a couple times~ As if once wasn't bad enough, but yeah, good healing for you sir, I enjoy the videos!

Glad it was nothing too serious and (hopefully) easily fixed. A bigger problem when it's a recurrent issue, I imagine. Did the medic clear you to fly back or did you have to skip that one?

I have a condition called recurrent corneal erosion, where, basically, the top layer of cells of your cornea sticks to the inside of your eyelid if your eyes are closed for any length of time, if you touch or rub them, and sometimes just because, it seems. Then, when you open your eyes again, it rips off that top layer, exposing the nerve endings. Cue pain, severe watering, photosensitivity, blurry/foggy vision, haloes around lights, redness and swelling etc. Most of the time I can manage it with a particular kind of lubricating eye drops, but if it's really bad, I have to resort to an eye ointment that is, basically, sterile vaseline for the eyes. That's as much fun to apply as it sounds like!

As a Brazilian, I can say I love aviation and I like your channel for both talking about aviation and because I can practice my English...in the Guarulhos airport, there is a ground maintenance guy called Lito, he has a great channel about aviation either, it's called "Aviões e Músicas" (Portuguese for airplanes and songs)...anyway, I wish you enjoy your stay!

Nice mention about your "math test" crew member. In the army we ALWAYS have a "check navigation" NCO when on patrol who makes sure we're going in the correct direction, route and making sure we're crossing NAV points where we can ensure we're covered for time, resources & safety.

Another great mini documentary Kelsey. When you changed into your hoodie you suddenly look like a 20-something college kid! So glad your eye recovered quickly. Thanks for all the wonderful entertaining and educational videos, your channel has been one of my favorites for years, especially because I had flown on 747 commercial flights for decades and loved them (especially Business Class to Europe)!

The editing of this video is top notch! 👌🏻 especially the transition at 6:40. That was so smooth!

I have spent many many months (18+) in Brasil and I am so sorry your trip was in the hospital not the beach. Lovely country!

Can't tell you how much I enjoy your videos. I lost my brother on flight 242 in 1977 but ever since I have been interested in aviation. Thank you for your dedication in the safety of flying and the integrity of pilots and controllers. I think your work will inspire future pilots and maybe even inspire current pilots to reach a little higher! (They won't admit that though.)
