Take it from a shy girl: he’s right. We just don’t know whether to smile at you or not. In all honesty, it’s scary because we don’t know what you will think, and we care a lot about that. I mean we are trying to impress you, so naturally we want you to think good things about us. I do this all the time with my crush and I shouldn’t but I don’t know what else to do because my mind blanks when I see him. Smile at her next time she looks at you :)

This girl would stare at me blankly. She initiated these little looks and stares we would do. Problem was she had a bf. I knew this. So I never tried to ask her out or anything. I wouldn't want some guy hitting on my girl either. I did call her beautiful once because she looked amazing that day. But the thing was SHE did the first stare.

I'm not sure if it's always possible that she may like you.. I happen to occasionally stare at a guy when he does something that grabs my attention- not that I may be interested/feel things towards him. I've been going through a situation where I happen to have this big crush on a guy in school but when I get the chance to look at my crush, his friends do look at me. It's bothered me and left me feeling really weird about even attempting to steal a glance. It's so bad that most of the time I've resorted to staring at other guys to avoid looking at him. Now I feel that other guys may believe I have crushes on them.. when in reality I don't feel attracted to them at all.. ahaha

This guy stared at me and smiled. I stared back with no smile. Only because he won't take it further and ask me out. I used to get my hopes up by smiling at each other . I even went weak at the knees after he said hi once. It's so obvious that I like him. After a few weeks It just got tiring to smile at him. Now I just look into his eyes, no smile as a way to get my guard up again and not feel disappointed and like I'm wasting my time. I still am very attracted to him. I feel like time's up and he's got to learn that he can't take a girls feelings for granted. Am I doing the right thing? Other guys actually Bother having a conversation and I want to give them a chance. The issue is I'm not attracted to them.
