Having lived and worked in South Korea and Japan, (still living in Japan at the moment) I made this video about the similarities that I have observed in these two countries.

In India, when we go to a restaurant, before eating we have a small talk with the waiter and after food we turn like friends and give compliments on the food we ate. Sometimes I hate people trying to be cute, when they act like that especially. Maybe that's because I have never tried to act cute. Lots of my classmates do act cute. We also do that when our work or anything was done. In India, people both talk, directly and indirectly, that depends on their attitude. For me, I am a little shy to talk directly. When you talked about similarities in Japanese and Korean languages, that remember me of the Indian languages. For example my language Malayalam in Kerala and Tamil language in our neighbour state Tamilnadu is very similar. This similarity goes to most of the languages in India. But for someone from out of India, it must be hard. But if we study one language in India, it will be easy to study other languages.

Yes. Language about Japanese and Korean are very similar. When talking another you tube video. One Japanese said that Japanese is one of the most difficult language in Japanese. But another Korean said for Koreans learning Japanese is much easier than learning English. And truly many Koreans learns Japanese.

Of course I know Japan occupied Korea as colony, during occupation Koreans forced to be influenced to study Japanese. But independent from Japan, many Koreans learn Japanese not forced but positively. And they positively point out our Japanese misunderstanding and prejudice to Koreans not to divert the way.
Though this is thankful, Japan society gradually have a tendency ethnocentric and nationalistic. And our Japanese prejudice and discrimination to Koreans and Chinese gradually are amplifying, so many Japanese racist emphasize that Chinese and Koreans should be expelled from our country and breaking off diplomatic relationship with S.Korea. This is extreme opinion but some have sympathy such horrible thoughts.
So I wish Japanese and Koreans know this video and understand the importance of making negotiation and relationship. Knowing Culture and custom is the preulude to decrease prejudice and discrimination. Of course Japanese government have a responsibility compensation aged Koreans who suffered during colonial era. But I also wish Korean government understanding cooperation with Japanese government sincerely.
Sorry writing complicated problem between Japan and Korea though this video is for entertainment. I worry vicious circle between Japan and Korea so I write such unhappiness.
By the way Sharoona-san's Japanese pronouncement is very fluently. I was surprised. I enjoyed this video. Thank you very much.
