You should def recommend a budget option for each category as well

It's such a relief to hear you say certain physical exfoliants are okay, because they have been the only ones my dry/sensitive skin could tolerate in the past (I stopped using due to all the stuff I read saying not to use them). And side note - the Gleanser is AMAZING, I'm obsessed. You could easily charge so much more for such an incredible product and the fact that you made it affordable?? You dropped this 👑

I have combination skin and really like Derma E Overnight Peel. It has glycolic, lactic, malic acid, and glycerin in that order of ingredients. Very effective yet gentle and affordable.

Such a good video! You’re so good at educating your audience. I was intrigued by the new skinceuticals exfoliator until I saw the price. They’ve lost their mind with that one. When are you coming out with a Prequel exfoliator!?!? I will definitely buy that one!

Great video! I have dry, sensitive, easy to burn skin with well controlled rosacea. I have been using the skin perfecting daily liquid exfoliant dry skin formula by Neutrogena. I use it several days per week along with my prescription tretinoin cream. Never have had an issue, been using it for several years now. Highly recommend it.

I use The Ordinary Lactic Acid every day after Vitamin C in the morning. I use the 10% one. No irritation at all from it. I regularly go after my face with a bamboo washcloth, just because it feels good.

My favorite exfoliant is Paula's Choice AHA BHA Peel. I use it once a month for 5-10 minutes before rinsing off. I do not use it on a night I'm using tretinoin.

To everyone who can't afford the products listed, because the prices are wild, check out Paula's Choice. They have tons of different types and strengths of exfoliants, and they always have some sort of deal going on. I use the BHA once a week, and every couple of days i use their new lactic/mandelic acid toner. (I have combination skin.)

Dr Sam Ellis, could you do a video on benzene in skin care products? There’s been news reports saying benzoyl peroxide-containing products has cancer-causing levels of benzene. This is rather alarming, what would be your professional opinion on this? 😢

Hello Dr. Ellis. I really enjoy your videos and learn a lot from you. I would love to see more drugstore products or ideally products that are already really popular and that people might already have. It would be really great to look the products that we already own what we can use. I don't think it's realistic to buy new products for every video. I understand you want to recommend the best, but a budget friendly/something we might already have would be even better.

Sensitive Dry skin type
Like Dermaquest’s
Dermaclear serum.
Not just for acne.

i have a dry, sensitive, acne prone skin type and i have good luck with mandelic acid. glycolic acid burnt my face off and lactic acid didn't do much for me, but i notice that mandelic acid doesn't irritate me and calms my acne as well as smoothing out my skin just the tiniest bit. whenever i have a really inflamed breakout i'll layer my mandelic and azelaic acid serums on it like a spot treatment and the inflamation tends to go down a noticeable amount overnight.

Really enjoying the Isntree mugwort powder wash. They come in little packets. There's enough for 2 uses. In the shower I usually use half for my face, and other half for arms and legs. Leaves skin so soft!

I really enjoy the Neutrogena stubborn texture cleanser, I think it's really underrated. But since I've started using adapalene pretty much daily, I find i can't tolerate anything more than like once a week

I love to use the Glytone mild gel cleanser just a couple of times per week. Keeps my sensitive skin smooth without any irritation. Thank you for the information! Great video.

I don’t usually see the doctor wear so much makeup, but it is definitely a pretty look! 🥳
I have moderately severe rosacea, but about once every 2 weeks I like to use Dermalogica’s Milkfoliant in the shower, a little goes a long way for me.
