Love how you present the facts and give detailed explanations! I love lactic acid as my aha and use along with a 2 % bha. I only exfoliate 1x a week… using retinol 5 days and one day of recovery.

I’m so glad I found your channel. I just turned 50 and needed to revamp my skincare routine. With so many products on the shelves, it’s hard to know what to is necessary and what’s not. Thank you for the informative videos. They have helped me make informed decisions that I feel confident about. I look forward to future videos.

I'm so glad that you mentioned using a separate and stronger exfoliate on your body. I've recently bought the L'Oréal 10% pure glycolic acid and the Amlactin 15% lactic acid lotion. I have KP on my legs (mostly) and my arms. Right now I just alternate days. But I also would like to get a retinoid to use as well. And was thinking of using a stronger retinoid for the skin on my legs. Actually I'd like to have an in office chemical peel but on my face, arms and legs. I haven't heard of full body chemical peels that much but I'm sure they are being done. Btw, your videos are always very informative.

OMG, thank you for this breakdown. Literally a lightbulb went off in my head with this video. I have dry dry skin and I have been using a BHA exfoliant & wondering why my skin was extra dry on those days. I should be using a mandelic exfolliant ..😮😊😊

Thank you!! I have been using BHAs and retinol on my dry, acne-prone, sensitive skin thinking each exfoliant works the same way. This video will be a game changer for me!

Dr. Alexis, you recommended Azelaic acid for hyperpigmentation and breakouts, wanted to thank you! I’ve been using it for two years straight since I watched a video from you and my skin is completely clear and glowing!!! It’s also helped me to simplify my skin care routine. I’ve recently incorporated tranexamic acid and *chefs kiss*. Thank you

Yes glad I watched this bc I just bought the glycolic ordinary but another dermatologist said that brand wasn’t good for POC.

Love your videos. If you could do a video on preteens skin care I would GREATLY appreciate that. My son is young but coming up on those adolescent years and I'd really like to get him started on the healthiest skin care routine I possibly can!!

I just got the urban skin rx pads in the mail the other day. My skin feels so nice! I’ve used mandelic acid peels and wanted to try something different. I cut it in half too 🙃 so I have twice as many treatments. Thanks for the recommendation!

Can you do a video about micro needling, microdermabrasion and a dermal roller. And if it can be done at home safely?

Dr. Stephens please do a video on aging sagging skin (especially the Chin and Neck after weight lost), what to do to improve it, when to be seen professionally or best lasers or instruments to use for it in Med Spas?
