In my 'How to Use a Floss Pick the Right Way' video, I demonstrated the technique using a model/fake mouth. But many of you asked to see how it's done in a real mouth for better understanding. So, here's a demonstration using a floss pick in my own mouth to show you exactly how to do it in real life. Hope this helps!

Girl you did some really amazing job, i mean for some people who are new to flossing and accidentally brought the floss pick, can actually use it efficiently

Thanks for making this tutorial, my friend has always only used floss picks and has a lot of bleeding gums because they never knew until recently about that you don’t just put the floss pick straight in and out of the teeth. They had never done the ‘sawing’ motion and curved around each tooth.

This was very helpful. Thank you for taking the time to video this; I had never yet seen an actual video detailing the actual methods and techniques of floss picking. Seeing it actually being done motivates me to focus on improving my technique.

I typically only use floss pics. I think I have more control than with the thread.

Thank you so much for posting a demonstration of how to use these picks for the back teeth!
Since I physically can't figure out how to use traditional floss for them, this is all I can do right now.
Before I ran out of my good picks, that were actually made in a way to get to your back teeth, I noticed I had ones shaped like this, didn't think anything of them till I tried to use them for the first time. These are devil picks, I don't know why they're made this way, they're so hard to use, its like they weren't made for the back teeth, at all. Thanks to your video, I was able to see how I can actually floss my molars with them, thank you. I did find I have to cut off the handle, though.

I really recommend floss brush!! It's really handy. My dentists recommend it and it changed my life. It's effective and easy to use since it's long stem (like tooth brush) is easy to put in mouth and use. I use the Jordan flosser! I don't know if it's only in Finland though...

Great video! Sounding a bit funny for education! Love it 😂 My fingers hyperextend due to ehler's danlos syndrome, which makes string flossing difficult, so I use this method. I recently started using the Oral B Gum Care floss picks with adjustable tension and they're even better than normal floss picks! So easy to use. Highly recommend. I just wish they were cheaper, but I think it's worth it. Love your videos!

Could you also post a demonstration of how to floss with the traditional floss, and interdental brushes, please? Seeing how you do it and being able to rewatch the technique is so helpful for me.

Hi . Thank you for taking the time to make this video. Could you please let me know what’s the brand of floss picks that you’re using ?

I only use floss picks because the traditional dental floss always gets torn apart for me. Thanks for the bending trick.

I've used these for a long time now and they work great. Gums don't bleed anymore even when they floss at the dentist.

Do you have to worry about pushing food particles up into your gums?

Thank you, Whitney. You are lovely. I’ve tried floss picks, for me, they quickly fray, and I feel like debris would be pushed into the gums, and they would need rinsing after each tooth. So, like you say, they could work in a pinch if we’re out and about, or out of string floss 😨, but I prefer string floss. I’d like to try inter-proximal brushes in addition. Do those need to be rinsed between teeth, and are those re-usable for multiple flossing sessions, or a single use floss session? Thank you, Whitney.
