Floss picks are a lifesaver for me. There is no other way I would floss my teeth.

Good to know that floss picks w/ water flossers is an effective combo. Helpful for folks with dexterity issues.

I have large hands and they are too big to fit in the back of my mouth. No one seems to mention this obstacle

I use floss picks because I struggle with a lot of executive functioning difficulties around oral hygiene and have had to troubleshoot over the years. The oral b glide gum care flossers are my holy grail. I have very tight contacts so I can make them more taught to get in between my teeth and then let go to be able to get down into the gums and get that c shape.

I use wafer flosser + floss pick. However since watching this video I’ve started bending the floss picks. Thanks for the tip, love your channel.

Oh thank God, haha. I hate regular floss because it slips between my fingers and use a floss pick because it gives me good grip while I move it around my teeth. I use the water flosser as well though, so I am clear jay! My dental routine has never been better, thanks to you Whitney! My teeth thank you!

Floss picks are just more effective overall not because of their ability to clean but for their ease of use and convenience of picking one up and going straight at it compared to a traditional floss which is quite tedious. This inherently will make people floss more often than using traditional floss. Even though picks dont floss perfectly, flossing more often not perfectly will still be much better than flossing perfectly but not so often. (From anecdotal experience)

floss picks word great for me, its a 4 in 1 (in my opinion.) its a toothpick, scraper and decently flosses. (also look good while burning, they make little flying strings)

I hate sticking my fingers in my mouth, and yes the floss slips through my fingers. The floss picks just need a different technique. My teeth are jammed tight against each other too.

It should also be noted you can rinse the floss pick with water if any food is on it after each use. I wasted a lot of picks using them after one use and discarding and kept buying bags of picks every other week or so until my hygienist told me I can rinse them with water to get rid of the food and reuse them again 😅

Your videos inspired me (and scared me haha) to take care of my teeth seriously about four months ago. My favorite and most consistent combo is string floss and then a water flosser after that!

I can’t deal with those floss picks because I can’t get to the molars in the back of my mouth

I see them on the ground all the time too. Who is flossing at the park so much that they’re everywhere?

I like the refillable floss pick from Quip for those times when I need to use something quick and convenient.

I literally rinse my mouth out with water and spit and repeat till I see no more food debris at all, then I’ll use the floss picks that have the two string instead of one& will keep flossing till I see no food
And I will brush, go back softly with the floss picks again just to finally check and then I’ll use mouthwash
It works for me

Use Y shaped flossers !! If you can find them they adapt better. I agree with you !!

Usually a string flosser, however recently got braces and string floss is just too time consuming! Found some orthodontic friendly picks that help! Will attempt to use a water flosser too!

No matter what I do regular floss hurts my fingers. So "something is better than nothing" means using floss picks. However it's veeeery important to use them carefully and run them along the tooth surface like you would with the regular floss in the C-shape. I even carefully angle them in multiple directions to get the same effect. Ever since I consistently started flossing with picks several years ago I've stopped getting regular cavities I used to get almost every dentist visit. Consistency is key! I do still occasionally do regular floss (maybe once a week) but floss picks every single night has saved my teeth (and my money).

You provide the information and knowledge with so much cuteness that now even I'm considering various dental procedures of which I was earlier scared. (P.S. I'm going to purchase string floss soon.)
