Rocket Frames Finally Matter

Literally any adaptive or aggressive will do the same damage as a damage perk Palmyra with 0 setup or drawbacks lol. Thought this was pretty obvious this season but this past few weeks I've done quite a few lfgs where people still think palmyra is best.

Stream this stuff sometimes at

Post shorter clips that don't make the cut for youtube on twitter

Good options to look out for are hezen vengeance, hothead, bump in the night and apex predator if you want tracking auto loading with a perma 20% higher output than base Palmyra

If you’re a pleb like me, Red Herring is a good replacement for Hothead

Finally someone who recognized that tracking rockets actually did get nerfed. People kept telling me the difference is so minor it doesnt make a difference, but 22% more damage per player is HUGE. thank you so much for finally putting this out on the table.

So aggressive frames do the same as adaptive frames? That's pretty weird to me, I'd figure they'd do more, same with high impact frames. I wonder why they made adaptive frames specifically the best choice

It was incredible doing caretaker and Rhulk with an auto/explosive light hot head with guys in my clan who aren't very good doing the Iza swap so they use Cartesian and we usually have to do 3 floors for Caretaker and only needed 2 with 3 guys who never touched the raid before.

here’s the thing, rockets have TT, if you’re gonna be using a RL without intrinsic tracking it has to be on a target that doesn’t move, like riven or Templar etc… because you can and will miss most of those shots given that you’re fighting a boss that moves alot, lowering your DPS even further than if you were using a RL with intrinsic tracking so don’t just go throwing away your precision frames just because someone showed you numbers, they are still very good. It doesn’t matter how much damage you’re packing if you can’t hit your target. That being said the frames are situational so use what’s best in that situation.

I'm still using precision though because i don't trust my aim enough to give up the tracking

As soon as I saw the nerf I haven’t touched a precision since

Its funny, with this change and solar 3.0 I find myself using apex predator with tracking kill clip. Auto loading would be very good for a dps rocket but to be quite honest, izanagi swapping just isnt necessary and I use linears for dps. No this is my go to nightfall rocket. I typically have a teammate with gjally so I use apex for the wolfpacks, and when I fire at a champion, more often than not it kills some adds, giving me a pretty big 30% damage boost to both the rocket and the wolfpacks. This also stacks on top of font of might for instant nuking of a room and I can save my exotic for witherhoard or arbelest.

Anyone thinking this is a meme, I did too for literal years, always laughing at kill clip on a rocket.

depends, if you land no hits with the rest they do no damage. thats the only difference you sacrifice damage for ease of use. but im glad with a change like this making the different frames matter. i mean they all should have their plus's and minuses

These DPS updates floor me when we still have full time access to Volatile Rounds for our Deathbringer and it'll likely reign supreme until it's individually gutted.

Some sources of solid legendary rocket launchers that require little to no skill to get.
Arc: Heretic from Altar's of Sorrow on the moon. Its on a daily rotation so find out what day is gonna it and go farm it. Good add clear primary and special and a sword power for killing the nightmares. IMO IMpulse Amplifier is the best perk for it because it gives a % increase to reload speed AND makes it easier to land shots. ALternativly for Arc you can go for Sleepless in the Dreaming City/Shattered Throne. Perks are better but way more RNG.
Void: Red Herring. Craftable from Witch Queen. Good selection of perks and minimal RNG for your personal ideal god roll.
Solar: Apex Predator. Before you say "but that's a raid weapon!" yes but you can just go into Last Wish, use the Wish Wall to jump to Shurochi, then backtrack to the bonus chest and get a free piece of gear from the Last Wish raid. Its a deep loot pool, but Apex Predator is in there and you dont need a fire team or even to do any raid encounters to get it. There's also ways to get back from Morgeth to get the second bonus chest too. There's other really good weapons in there too, the Scout Rifle, Fusion and Hand Cannon all have amazing PvE AND PvP rolls. 100% worth the time to do. And lets face it, sometimes you need a solar rocket launcher and your exotic slot aint free for the ghorn.

Im glad this video is not 15 minutes of pointless gibberish, but rather quick and simple

Still gonna use precision. Tracking, auto loading together is just something that I cant put down.

Sleepless with auto loading and chain reaction will always be my go to no matter what's out there

Heads up! Roar of the Bear, the Iron Banner rocket launcher, is coming back this season with some pretty good perks.

P.S.: It is High-Impact so I little less then Adaptives and Agressives but still alot more than Precisions.
