Long before blasting into space, rockets were used here on Earth as early as the 13th century. What are your thoughts on their use throughout history?

Space. It is equally exciting, mysterious and yet scary at the same time. The vast universe is something we may never fully explore in our entire human race existence.

The mere fact that mankind is leaving the Earth and heading into faraway space through a spacecraft, the total collection of human science and technology, makes your heart overflow. I want to be an aerospace engineer and join the project to make a spaceship. Wouldn't one day mankind be able to reach another planet?

Love seeing what SpaceX is doing. It has me excited about space. Hopefully, it does the same for the youth today. Namaste

The narrator didn't speak well as before, also the role of the Germans (1939 - 1945) in the development of the missile was ignored . No reference to Wernher von Braun ( NASA engineering program manager - chief architect of the Apollo - Saturn V rocket ) ?!? 🚀

4:00 "The Atlas rocket family, which launched America's first astronaut into orbit."
Why are we seeing Al Shepard, who made a suborbital flight as the first American in space, on screen and not John Glenn, who was the first American to orbit?

The several stage USA rockets and some Russian rockets of the space age did make a diference but the Space Shuttle brought the International Space Station (ISS) to a reality and changed Space Exploration forever.

Wow, NatGeo using the correct notation instead of the CE and BCE. That's actually quite impressive considering how people and YouTube in general tries to be socially justice and politically correct. Kudos NatGeo.

Amazing... National Geographic did mention about "Indian Mysorean Rockets" @ 3:33.
By the way, I'm from the district of Mysore, India.
