I have a Sony S Series running Windows 8.1 with the same specs and a MacBook Pro running OS X Yosemite with the same specs. But when I compare them both, the sony gets heated in 5 mins and lags too much whenever i play games. Whereas, I got my mac with mountain lion and upgraded it two times, it still runs smoothly and gives the same performance with no lags at all. And an advantage with Mac is that it never gets virus. But my sony got virus in two months from the date of buying, and I got an error that hard disk is not running and it never turned on, so i had to spend too much money to replace the hard disk, I've never got these issues in a mac.

everything thats wrong:
1:macbook pro is faster
2:macbook has pretty much twice the battery life
2:macbook is sexier and overall better build quality
3:stop getting psyched about usb 3.0 becos thunderbolt is way faster
4:OS X is way faster than windows
5.the dedicated graphics arent a big improvement to the intergrated ones
dont listen to dis bullsh*t, go to cnet.com, its really fair and not biased like this review and i bet they bribed the girl at the end with sweet and sour chicken

Sony and Apple are BOTH great machines. Can't go wrong with either one. What's with this video being so biased. Personally i own Macbook pro 15" 2011, I know i could have gotten more from a PC. But i love the build quality of Macs, and would still purchase a Mac in the future.

Obviously won't trying to advertise their product. Taking Vaio at a the smaller differences that makes them slightly better at some angles. Big differences that make Mac better: no antivirus needed meaning no slowing your computer down. A much better looking laptop. Retina display (meaning pixel per pixel it's better). And a much better operating system

I think PC owner hate Apple products so much because they just can't afford them. Sure Macbooks isn't the most practical computers but it is the best design, best UI, best operating system, best of just about everything. And I think that if everyone could afford it, then everyone would have a Macbook or iMac.

Being an engineer I would go for: The Sony VAIO line of notebook PCs as it has historically been easy to identify by two features; a sharp, angular-edged chassis with Chiclet-style keyboard (a Sony design innovation that many people incorrectly attribute to Apple) and a high price tag. The 15-inch VAIO S is one of the more affordable notebooks in Sony's lineup but it retains the design features and performance that people expect from a Sony product.

I have never had any problems with any of my Sony Electronics and this laptop will definitely be my next laptop. I love PC I don't know why I wanted to try a Mac.
