TO ANYONE WHO CANT FIND A "private" in your SD CARD: you need to go in your camera on dis (with sd card inserted) and you need to press options and then click copy form system to sd and click "Choose picture individually" and select a random picture and then the sd card should create a private thing on its own. Tell me if anyone wants more help

This is a GREAT tutorial, straight to the point and quick. I was losing hope for my recent bought second hand DSi XL, in no way the R4 worked and I didn't know what to do. I was afraid of installing directly a jailbreak and bricking the DS, and your tutorial just worked really well and with no issues.

i just bought a dsi xl last week and it arrived today in the mail, with my adult hands this will be a blast on the xl, i had a ds lite back in 2008 that i bought myself with my birthday money $70 and my dad took me to the store and i bought a used one(was barely used and in mint condition) and years later i still had it in pristine condition(minor scratches on touch screen) even tho i played on it all the time, and in 2016 my dad sold it, i had given it to him to store it and keep it safe since we were moving states and i wanted to keep it in our main home, that really hurt and just last week i found a dsi in good condition and now i will be able to play all the games i used to have❤

Very nice and very easy to install. I was using a r4 card before this that kept crashing after like 30 seconds. I was able to install it within 5 minutes, thanks!

I really like this console. I bought it used a few years back and loaded up chrono trigger. I couldn't put it down. Even played the extras that wasn't on the snes version. the bigger screen made it enjoyable and doesn't strain my eyes

This is a very awesome tutorial, I modded my dsi in less than 30 seconds literally! I may plan to give it to my mother at some point or buy her a new one and mod it so that she can experience these retro games as I use a new nintendo 3dsxl so the ds isn't my primary handheld.

The DSi XL is still my favorite. My New 3DS XL is still amazing, but the DSi just has an amazing view for DS games (and DSi enhanced games like Pokémon Black and White)

Note: the Twilight Menu can also play GBA, GBC and GB, SNES, NES, Game Gear, Genesis, and TurboGraphix 16/PC Engine games as well. However, note that they all run in varying qualities and may not run well or as close to how they would on real consoles.

I'm so happy my mom got me DSI XL for my birthday when I was 7 and I'm even more happy I was so attached to it I never had a thought of selling it, I still have. (I was so attached I actually use up the old battery)
