Fish emulsion is an organic garden fertilizer that is made from whole fish or parts of fish. It provides an NPK ratio of 4-1-1 and is most often used as foliar feed to provide a quick nitrogen boost.
A fresh emulsion fertilizer mixture can be easily made from one-part fresh fish, three-parts sawdust, and one bottle of unsulfured molasses. It's usually necessary to add a little water too. Place the mixture in a large container with a lid, stirring and turning daily for about two weeks until the fish are broken down.

That's pretty awesome ! I have always meant to try to make my own fish fertilizer . You could always see if the bait shop got any dead minnows or buy some it might be cheaper . I could go down to the creek and scoop some up . Thanks for sharing and have a blessed day !

Curious as to how the sawdust works in the process? Does it also breakdown? Nice to see you identify your location as so many don't, may be a good idea to quickly add the growing zone as well. Personally I think it would be great if everyone opened all their videos with that type of introduction.

I saw a video that used dried sardines but you have to find one that has no salt added. This is faster.
