12" for every inch of cobra knot. This is exactly the information I came here to find. It worked like a charm!!! I am not making a bracelet, I made a duck call lanyard!!! Great video.

Thank you! Very informative. I've started making bracelets again and have been having a time getting the lengths right. There has been some great tutorials I've followed, and have had amazing turnouts with the weaving. When i go to try on my finished work disappointment sets in.
Not giving up and never giving in!

If you're accurate enough and you have less than a foot left over I always make paracord peeps, I buy the little split rings the little tiny wooden beads 6 in for the body 6 in for the leg perfect use of extra cord

Hello.
Personally, when I create my bracelets, (in Cobra model), I measure the wrist loosely, then I add 3 cms that I multiply by 12 if I only need one thread. Or by 6 if my bracelet is two-tone.
Ex: my wrist is 19 centimeters so.
19 + 3 (12) = 264 cms
But only for cobras or King cobras because it adds thickness.
This way you don't have any thread loss or too short a thread estimate.

Hello. Your video is very helpful. But I have one question. When you measure the paracord according to your wrist do you put the buckle in that measurement or separated? I mean if I need a bracelet 21cm in those cm I must include the buckle? Total measurement or if I have a buckle of 6cm my paracord should be 21-6=15cm?

Ok. I’m not doing inches. I’m making or want to make a 7 foot horse reins out of paracord out of the cobra knot. How many feet of paracord do o need for 7 foot? Would I double or triple the rope?

Question; I have often, a bounce back effect from the cord, due to the strands from the inner core, how do you remedy to that..?
I removed the inner and it seemed fine for a small size cord, but can i make a bracelet void of its core and it still look good..?
Thanks

Q. What is the size of paracord in mm?
Q. What you call that lock which you use to tie the bracelet?

Last century, when I was a Boy Scout (in the good old days when we actually learned “stuff”), we learned that, if you started a project like this, figure out the amount of materials we needed and add 10% (yes, we could do percentages - without a computer, iPhone or calculator - by the time we reached the minimum age to be a Boy Scout; even a Cub Scout could do it).
