😲What if you swallow a snake (ALIVE) - By Kishor Singh
Will swallowing an alive snake kill you, or your digestion system will digest it properly? Let's see who has more hours after you swallow a snake.
As soon as you swallow an alive snake, it reaches your stomach through the esophagus. Now, as this snake will come in contact with the powerful acidic digestive juices, its skin will start to burn. In response to this burn, the snake will try to bite you in your internal stomach. If it succeeded in biting you, its venom will reach your blood and you will die within a few hours.
The snake will remain alive for about 20 minutes without oxygen in your stomach, but till that time, your stomach acids would have burnt the snake and made it half-dead, and the snake will eventually die because of the lack of oxygen.
Will now your digestive system be able to digest this dead snake? Your digestive system has to work a lot to digest the body skeleton of this snake. However, the stomach acids will break down the venom into smaller particles to digest them easily.
But the problem is that if a snake has had any other animal before reaching your stomach, it can cause you some severe infection
