oh god dad wasn't kidding about the whole hairball thing, i used to suck on my hair as a kid and he scared me off of it telling me i'd get a hairball in my stomach and boy am i glad he did, i had no idea he was telling the truth

Fun story: my dog was getting a surgery to take biopsies of his intestines to figure out why he has trouble absorbing nutrients properly. While the doctor was trying to get one of the biopsies, she kept seeing his hair and couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Turns out, my weirdo eats his hair and she managed to pull some of it out during his exploratory. Turns out that isn't actually the cause of his symptoms, but probably doesn't help him much.

I’ve been losing hair for years but lately I’ve been losing more.

The last couple of months I’ve always felt very gassy to the point where I feel uncomfortable.

I even took a saline laxative and although it cleaned my system the bloated feeling and inability to pass gas is still there.
