I am replacing an existing can light that already has a junction box. Can the junction box be removed from the new Halo 6 in. can and the wires routed to the old junction box?

Sir, I need your help. I cut off the ballast wires and removed it altogether. I have two Romex cables to deal with. One has two white wires, and the other has two black wires. I have what appears to be two other can lights in series. I connected all the black wires from the Romex to the single black wire from the junction box and the two white wires from the other Romex to the white wire from the junction box. All the can lights stopped working. What did I do wrong?

How would you add them if the ceiling was a deck or concrete decking

Have you done anything or what do you recommend for air leaks or insulation around the CAM lights?

I searched and cannot find a DIY video showing how to remove a Halo 6" remodel can (from 15 years ago). Is there a way to unlock the spring clips? This is to permit rewiring the can to group it with another 6" can. BTW, i subscribed.

I notice that you are using HALO cans in video, but your link is for the Sunco cans. Is there a reason that the link is different than what you are using? Does one work better than the other?
