EASY CHIFFON Cake - NO FAIL!

Baking time is 30min-1hr depending on the size and height of the pan you are using in a pre heated oven at 150C.

*very important to always do a toothpick test for doneness

Chiffon Recipe

6 egg yolk
1c cake flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4c sugar
1/2 canola oil
2 tbsp milk
1tsp vanilla

meringue
6 egg whites
1/2c sugar
1tbsp cornstarch

I learned this at a tender age, thanks to my mentor Aunt . Chiffon cake is big in Filipino tradition much as Apple pie is for Americans. So teaching it to in laws who doesn't even know how to beat eggs is an unpaved road fraught with hostility. How are Pinay Moms raising their daughters?
I continue to learn new ways to get better at baking and cooking. Thanks for the cornstarch trick.

Hahaha. First time ko nkagawa ng chiffon cake. Lahat ng ginawa ko before gamit ang ibang recipe, bagsak lahat ng cake ko. Perfect recipe kuya boyet. Galing nung turo mo sa folding. yun pala kulang ko. na motivate tuloy ako mag bake. Galing na galing ako sa sarili ko. hahaha.

This is the first time that I watched a video of you. I was scrolling for a chiffon cake, I have tried many recipes pero sadly ang bilis nila tumigas kapag nilagay mo sa ref and kakainin kinabukasan di na sya as good as before. BUT WITH THIS RECIPEEEE WOW!! Did not expect that it would be this good. I baked it yesterday, and 18 hrs have passed overnight sya sa ref and its still good!! So fluffy and soft almost melts in your mouth. 🥺 This is the best chiffon cake recipe ever!! Sana noon ko pa to na discover. 💗💗 Thank you for this. Now Im a fan 😊💗

Literal na No Fail Chef! Tried this last night for today’s order! Grabe super sarap and hindi din eggy ang lasa! Ginawa ko syang sugar free pero perfect pa din ang outcome fluffy and super soft! Kahit na nilagay ko na sa ref after ma frosting! This will be my go to chiffon cake recipe na ❤️ Godbless chef!
