I feel so bad for Kunai. Literally debuted right before the scandal hit, was stuck in a contract so she couldn't leave, and then she was basically pulling just as much or /less/ than in her prior life from what I understand. Even before she stopped streaming on her own channel. Niji dropped the ball for her so fucking hard and I hope she finds success going back to her old account.

Nobody is surprised by Kunai's departure, she hasn't streamed in months and Niji has done nothing to raise her profile or help her career, so you might as well run out the contract. Her graduation was as guaranteed as the sun exploding.

Good for her either way. Hopefully Vivi follows suit, that Gen really deserved better.

i honestly feel bad for Kunai because her PL has more than double her "CL." meaning joining Niji was almost a complete waste of time. like she earned her own silver play button on her PL and she didn't even breach 100k as Kunai. (not that she would have gotten to keep the play button)

The JP police will have to get involved for the suspicion of spiking drinks alone. They have to. Drug misuse and illegal drugs in Japan are serious enough that if the local cops dont move they too will be in trouble.

Edit: do not get it twisted: police will move on the drug stuff. The defamation, doxxing, or the rest? Fat luck that gets past putting down on paper on their own.

A completely soulless apology. Of course one regrets their actions only once they’ve been caught. Never before, only when what they do has a consequence on themselves. Not after the first time, not after the nth. All of these were fine even though they surely knew they were wrong. Yet he hasn’t stopped doing them and those employees never stopped pushing him into continuing. Only when they get caught we get the most PR handled “we are sorry, we regret what we did”. Shut up and rot.
And spiking drinks with aphrodisiacs? How do you manage to reach that? At least messages where concealed and could be seen by the victims (which absolutely doesn’t excuse it, but at least it keeps the victims in an ignorant bliss), but drugging them? Having actual consequences on them? It’s so unbelievable.
How can anyone trust anybody if these people exist?

As to the other news I did see some of the beginning of Bonnies bath stream. It was really cute and surprisingly wholesome. Randon is awesome and I hope he continues to do well. His premise as a white collared office working orc is so unique and fun. Glad that Kunai is getting out. Saw her and Vivi collabing with my fav vtuber PorcelainMaid, and thought man she really is so hilarious. I hope we'll hear about it when she eventually takes a new form. I hope Vivi is close behind her on the escape list.

It's wild to have followed Kunai's PL well before her debut in Niji and for her to leave just a year later. Must feel terrible that she just came in at the wrong time, but I hope people support her back on her PL after all this. Besides her generally being pretty fun and dorky, I think she has one of my favorite character designs.
