I'm not gonna eat with my left hand...

No no no no! We do NOT flip the fork to bring it up. This is bad etiquette. The tines stay down ALWAYS

What happens if you are left handed?🤯🤣

That steak was about as well done as a hockey puck.

This is incorrect. Europeans don’t turn the fork over to eat, we keep the tines in a downward position throughout.

Never place your knife blade resting on your plate outward.

I'm an American and I've never heard of or seen this "American style" before

Not accurate…perhaps study the subject before trying to educate others. The British /Australian (and probably the rest of the western world) don’t turn the fork as you said, and there is a lot more to it than you can show with an empty plate in 30 seconds.

Sorry but you're using your knife inefficiently. Even though in restaurants steak knives typically have serrated edges (for business reasons), you should really be using a straight edge for your steak at home. The straight edge should be razor sharp. It should take no effort whatsoever to cut through your stake. It should feel like cutting room temperature butter with a butter knife. Do not use a sawing motion. Instead, use slow multiple backward smooth strokes in the same cut. It creates less of a mess, is a bit safer, and is a more pleasurable experience. You just have to be careful not to cut yourself.

PS Think of a saw with its teeth. It's designed to cut through hard material. Serrated steak knives can cut through thin bone so that you wind up putting bone in your mouth. Straight edges allow you to feel for that if you pay attention. Cut like a surgeon not like a lumberjack.
