Anber The Angry Otter Takes Her Medicine

Now you can see that keeping otters as pets is not an easy task. Nor is it healthy for them, as they do not flourish well when kept in cages. I gave Anber her medication and she took 3 pills. Otters that are not well cared for when sold to their owners are often treated badly or killed similarly to the way that dolphins are. Since these are intelligent animals, it takes time to teach them. I've been told that to successfully train a dolphin in an aquarium, they have to kill up to 100 dolphins. Have you heard about this? Dolphins in captivity are forced to endure endless cruelty. Dolphins are deprived of food as part of the training process for performing. They were forced to breed and then traumatically separated from their calves at a very young age. People often catch dolphins in the wild to sell to aquariums. In a group of dolphins, the smartest ones are usually killed first, and the shy, obedient ones are brought back for training to perform. With that experience, I realized Anber might be a smart otter, but she doesn't know how to utilize it yet. I don't know how long it took for her to get along with the other animals and I don't know how long it will take for her to stop being defensive with me. Let's wait and see.

Have you tried inserting the meds in a fish especially near the head. Only trying to help as I know how difficult it is to give meds to animals. Amber is flipping cute 😍🥰🙏
