Otter Titi Disclipining Anber The Angry Baby Otter

Показать описание
Anber often says a big "f*ck" to everyone in the sanctuary lol. This makes even the most gentle dog in my house, get grumpy. Anbers current personality is more suited to living in the forest than in my house. The way I am taking care of her is in line with the animal rescue program that I have learned from famous animal conservation organizations in the world; rescue, health check, isolation, care, reincarnation, and then released into the forest. Anber is doing well with this process, so she will be able to be released soon. If Anber becomes tame, she has the choice to stay and help clean up the mangroves, if not, she will be released with the other otters. What do you think? How many people agree that she should be released?

I love how, even though he's being held firmly in one hand, lil' otter is still like, 'I will kill you! Why, wif my mighty jaws and teefs, I will _end you'_
* Aaaargh! *
EDIT: Lol @ the look of grim determination as he gnaws on leather encased fingers...
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

0:35 - Here. This. I'm pretty sure she has some brain damage that's affecting her balance center. She may not be releasable into the wild, in which case it's more important than ever to build a relationship with her.

Otters run in packs, as you know, and they sleep close together. First thing's first - I don't know how cold it gets at night where you are, but consider putting in some warmed towels at night for her to snuggle with.

When you are in her enclosure, sit quietly a distance away. Don't approach her. Don't touch her. She needs to understand you're trying to help her, and the first step is going to be just being with her, not doing anything to her.

You need her to associate you with good things. Once she calms a little in your presence, you can work on that.

She/he isn't angry, they're understandably scared witless of the huge dog & a huge gloved hand. If they're going to be non wild, she needs gentle socialising with humans. Food builds trust so start with that.

It doesn't need discipline. It needs the scary dogs kept back from jumping on its screen and barking at it. It's already terrified.

Otter Titi is like her role model. He disciplines her just like a mother dog would with her puppies.

Anber: "Uh oh."

Titi: "What did I tell you about biting the hand that feeds you?!

Open the cage real quick so I can give her a piece of my mind human."

Anber: *Loud squealing noises*

To me, it just looks like it's trying to get through the cage to its baby.
