I think it's worth noting whenever home instance and guild hall comes up that most of the profit from much of what you gather is going to come from volatile magic gathering tools, not the random carrot or green wood or whatever. Not to say there aren't valuable things in there, but if you don't have gathering tools that give you bonus materials on harvest, the value of a lot of the nodes in there goes down a lot.

Play content you like yes try to grab gold generating actions while playing it. However don't stress too much when you are still far from amount of gold for whatever you need. For missing amount, the most effective way to get gold - faaar outperforming any in-game activities is real life job.

I live in eastern europe and based on avarage pay here it's like I don't know ... 250g/h? I can only imagine in western europe or usa it's like... 1000g/h? more? It's just logic - value your time :)

Things i found by playing worth doing, fishing and leviant farm for those armbite i think that is the name sells very well, Daily fractals the higher tier the more u gain, meta events to get undentified gear for later salvage for mats to sell and in the process currency gain, guild hall harvest, Strikes and Dragonstorm give some gold daily, every week if you have expansion get to weekly items for legendary and sell them easy gold or keep if you intend to do legendaries, plus one thing that is not making gold but u need eventually down the road get provision coins has they refresh every day and its used for alot of things.

This is probably the worst way to earn gold with your personal garden. You should look at crafting and gathering ascended cooking materials. With the right glyph, you can go up to 12g a day for the garden only.

new player, played a week on a free account in february, and a little more than a week now after getting PoF and HoT on steam sale. the most confusing thing for me is all those different currencies that probably can be exchanged for other currencies that probably can be exchanged for gold. it's really overwhelming. even with wintersday event now, i need multiples of different currencies to get event things now and then it turns out those cost really huge amounts of gold and it's just endless confusion of am i doing something wrong am i supposed to be getting more somehow? currently my main gold making method is selling materials from playing and also selling mystic coins and buying gold bags from wizard vault. all this "parking alts" and "homestead farming" stuff sound foreign to me haha even to the point of "how do i get to someone's home instance" or "how do squads & instanced content work"

Hey i found a lot of videos where eternal ice shards are traded for lv4 currencies, then for VM and trophy shipment. Isn’t better to trade em to charr in Eye of the North for Tyrian defense seal and then for discounted supplies in Eye of the North aswell?

My main difficult is understand:
- what I need to do with all that materials I gather from chests / farm / loot ?

I have a lot of materials... except for ecto/mystic coin/clover, the most common materials I have 3k-5k each + 800k volatile magic.

so... what I need to craft to make gold, for only one purpose = craft or buy legendaries.

can you guys help me with that?

I am still wondering how it is possible to make that much legendaries if only 2 Gifts of exploration are possible per character. Did you say 60 legendaries? How? With 30 map completions?
