Sony's New Handheld Is Real But...

Sony announced Project Q which has been rumored for over a month now as a remote play device. Today we're talking about this new accessory and some of the details surrounding it.

Calling it now, that things going to break so easily it’ll be a joke without the cloud based crutch.
So many structural weak points: the exposed screen, minimal thin attachments between grip and screen, and the massive gaps between the screen and grips are all begging to break under a bit of force.

It's honestly pretty crazy that the Wii U has more functionality the this new Playstation handheld. I mean the Wii U could stream games directly to the gamepad without WiFi, yet a new handheld from Sony requires it...
I hate to say it, but I think this device would have been more compelling if it took notes from the Wii U.

This is such a great move by Sony ! Wii U absolutely crushed it in sales so it's understandable Sony would go down this road. The showcase was a banger ! Keep it up Sony -_-

I don't believe this thing will be under $100, but I wouldn't pay more than $99.99 for it. Most people I've seen talk about it said it looks like a fake Photoshop prototype.

The BackBone One sort of does everything this device does, for $99. It’s also licensed by Sony. Interesting to have both on the market

I love the PS5 and dualsense designs but that handheld looks so stupid to me. A dualsense cut in half with a screen attached in between. Seems kinda low effort.

This looks like a mockup someone would pass off as the PSP 3.

If they price it anything above $199 is a failure in my opinion. $199 or less could have some potential.

I think the handheld looks wonky because unlike the joycons, the controller portion isn't flush with the screen. So, it looks like it juts out way more and just looks weird.
