I own the first legion go and ditched my gaming pc. It's my go to machine for excel spreadsheet and for gaming.
Combining with Boosteroid, i can plug it to my tv or my monitor and play some games with a higher resolution without heating or making noises in my room. I need those detachable controllers and windows operating system.
Hopefully the version 2 or 3 will stay the same

SteamOS - No bloatware, 3% increase in performance, Easy navigation, and the Anticheat problem is almost over with Easy Anticheat and Battleye already adding support and more likely to follow.

Kinda surprised by the fact that nintendo didn't patent those detachable joycon things from switch. It was kinda one of the cornerstones for its usp and it's success

Personally I would go with the windows version and then dual boot Bazzite os, it would give me way more flexibility and the benefits of both operating systems

I think having Windows on a handheld entirely defeats the point of it being handheld.

It’s supposed to be this convenient little device that you can just pick up and play games on, SteamOS is actually optimised for that.

At the moment and someone who went with an ROG ally, it’s steam OS. It’s so easy to use and (at least from what I’ve tried) gives you better performance then windows. I hope Microsoft makes that handheld just so we can get a portable friendly windows so I can run all my games.

Tough choice. SteamOS might be a better experience for gaming and more battery efficient, but might have to go with Win11 so I can treat it like my to-go PC. Can always bring battery packs with me.
