Can't wait to see how the Sony wf-1000xm5's stack up to the sennheiser MTW3 when they release.
As leaks say the xm5 are supposed to be around the linkbuds s size but have that premium noise cancelling and premium sound that the xm4 provide.
If not better.
Could give the sennheiser MTW3 some serious competition

Thats a good test but keep that in mind, you can only hear what your audio output is capable of giving while you watch this video. Lets say there are two different songs (in this example: xm4 and mtw3 ) you can understand both are different and for different likings, but what you cant hear in this test is that lets say there was a little guitar playing on the corner in one song but due to fact that we filtered both of them throughout the same output(probably phone speaker), we pulled them on the same level and therefore missed the details.

They both sound great. Upper midrange has a bit more space to it on the XM4s but the Sennheisers seem to have better treble clarity and extension. I would say a tie, both 8.5/10 just from this

J'ai reçu et testé ce matin les Sennheiser, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés le son est dingue, comparé à mes jabra elite sport l'écart est monumental. Un seul défaut lorsque l'on s'essuie avec la serviette au sport cela appuie sur le tactile des écouteurs...
Édit : on peut couper le tactile avec l'application, très pratique pour le sport, donc maintenant 100% validé

젠하이저가 난 더 좋은듯... 젠하이저가 보컬은 살짝 뒤로 밀려있으면서 소리가 전체적으로 명확하고 확실하게 구분되서 뭉개지지 않고 단단하게 나옴. 너무 좋다 진짜.. 저런 소리가 진짜 여운이 남는 소리지. 약간 영화관에서 정말 좋은 영화를 보고 난 후에 나오는 엔딩곡을 듣는 느낌임. 소니는 반대로 영화가 진행중에 나오는 현재진행형 소리같음.

Listening this with Huawei Freebuds Pro 2 (DD + Planar setup, ) Hybrid.

Sennheiser - leaning toward V shape sound (i can hear clearly slight recession in the mids). Senns has more tightness and depth in the bass, i also doubt that the driver soeed is much faster than the Sony's driver (Since the attack of the bass is much more powerful).

Sony- Almost the same tuning as Huawei Freebuds Pro 2, leaning toward Balance Harman to U shape tuning, there's more shimmer and clarity around upper treble that's why it's much more energetic sounding than Senns, also the woman vocals is more exciting due to that upper mids elevation.

either incorrect fit on mic or unequal drivers on the sony for some reason. left side slightly louder in bass/low mids. listening on hifiman edition xs.

sennheiser sound a little brighter and clearer, sonys have a richer deeper sound to my own ears. id rather the xm4s for popular music tbh
