This guy isn't only fast, he's deadly precise.

A good point on another channel where the fighter said, if you can sense you can connect that punch, you can also land the kick as well. Was hurting my big toe because often was out of range for the round house kick vs another orthodox fighter

Also I wish my gym would play this tune during sparring lol

Hey bro can you create a course on self defense where you can teach your basic boxing skills? We would really love that!!

That transition to elbow guard mid flurry in the first clip is literally wild my man has full control of his arms. I’m very tall and I know how hard that is to snap some shots out there then try and block in transition to a new combo. Glitch just ripped right through it and never broke rhythm. Mfer 😂

Hey Glitchboxing,

I'm a 16-year-old who's never done any sports before, but I'm determined to get into shape and learn how to defend myself against bullies. I'm specifically interested in boxing because I want to learn how to use my fists effectively.

I know that boxing takes a lot of time and dedication, but I'm only willing to commit to it for 1-3 years. I'm not sure if that's enough time to make a significant difference, but I'm willing to try.

I'm also worried about putting my other hobbies aside, like computer science, games, and chess. I don't want to give up on those things, but I also want to get in shape and learn how to defend myself.

I'm wondering if you think it's worth it to train boxing for 1-3 years. Do you think I'll be able to make a significant difference in my body and fighting skills in that time? If so, can you recommend a program or guide that I can follow (I legit don't know what I'm doing, please provide a full on step by step guide of everything from diet, workouts, tips and advice, to complete lifestyle if possible, other beginners and I would really appreciate it <3)?

If you don't think boxing is the right fit for me, do you have any other suggestions for a combat style that takes less time to get the hang of and can still help me defend myself (like BBJ, Muay Thai...)? Or should I just focus on weight lifting instead (which takes significantly less time to get in shape doing, however it doesn't teach me how to fight)? I still do prefer boxing though, I have loved it since I was young, so unless it is an impossible fit, I will try my best!

Thanks for your time!

Best,
Yanis

Can I try an exercice for this purpose ?
What I have in my mind is to either connect a wire or somrthing in my left leg and my opponent’s left leg or in my right leg and opponent right leg. Is that effective ?

I have a problem connecting with my punches. I try 1-2 jab and cross. I landed my jab perfectly but my cross can't landed as if it was too far. Can someone help?
