LECHE FLAN FILLED DOUGHNUTS | FAMOUS DONUTS IN NEW YORK | @Bestfriend's Kitchen VERSION
Since many are raving about the famous Leche Flan Filled Doughnuts of Kora- a famous bakery in New York, we decided to make our own version of it and of course we want it to share with you. We have to be honest, this recipe has a long process as you need to make a dough, flan and custard but it's s definitely worth it. There is no need to go to Queens just to taste this treats, just head to your kitchen and try this recipe. This will surely be a hit! 😜
INGREDIENTS:
Dough:
2 1/3 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp instant dry yeast
3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup melted butter
1/2 cup warm milk
1/4 warm water
1 egg
Custard cream:
2 egg yolks
3 tbsp sugar
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
3 tbsp all purpose flour
Leche flan:
5 egg yolks
1 cup evaporated milk
3/4 cup condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sugar for caramel
Yield: 9 pcs
