Well, I’m a Christian, I think about this stuff all the time. Death, mortality etc. but I think about it in the terms of how can I be the best version of who God created me to be. What is my purpose? In the short time that I am here what can I do to impact the world Around me and to fulfill that purpose ? How can I follow the Bible in my daily life to be a better man. How can I build up this temple God gave me? How can I be the best I can be? Be stronger, be smarter, be Quicker, be Kinder, be more in touch with God, and reach out to show other people God’s love

His argument would be like me simply saying all atheists simply say eat drink and be merry for tomorrow we die . He’s Stereotyping and dismissing what the other side believes to throw them under the bus to make a point .

The thing is though death is something we must grieve even before it comes to us and grief has 5 stages.

If we rely on religion to console us then we remain stuck in the bargaining stage of grief and never truly reach the final stage of acceptance. So religion actually holds us back from having a healthy understanding of death. IMO

The last 4 years of my life I wanted to believe heaven and god was real so bad. But realistically it’s a load of shit. Sadly you won’t see passed away loved ones which is what makes life so good now. Enjoy it people

What happens when the transformation of the individual is a first step to being able to experience the experiment. What if spiritual experience can only come to those willing to accept and learn from the reality of the spiritual?

I will say this being raised in Christianity from childhood...Christians aren't present at all. My mother misses my children's birthdays and even some holidays. But she's always studying her Bible for future rapture and eternity. It's sad because she totally overlooks the now. She misses out on living her life to the fullest. I don't want that for my life.

The problem is that we create values through religion in every country, now that we don’t need religion to have values, we create things like CERN, CRISPR, Gain of function, nuclear weapons, Harmful food banned by superior countries, we fund billions of dollars to support wars, while letting who countries starve, we let politicians inside trade while suing companies that support crypto, we have people dying from curable diseases, we force children to choose a sex before they are allowed to smoke or drink, we go to war based off lies and calling other leaders dictators while exercising the same authoritarian power, we seek out religions to make them into criminals even though they are believing in something mythical….

It's not the fact of realising ow own mortality that's important it's the feeling that it's not natural for it to happen because if it was so natural we'd naturally be fine with it and so would everyone else around us.

Well duh, any religion that teaches you need to submit to a "deity" in order to earn eternal life is such a stupid thing to think about. They're wasting their lives.

That's why I believe in Jesus, the Creator of the universe instead.

What's interesting is as an atheist and a follower of science. I've come to believe that while our memories and actual life will come to an end. The phenomanalogical experience will continue for eternity.

I've come to believe that the universe is but one universe in a reality that expands within space time to cover an infinite amount of universes.

Within the small human life span and mind this is mind boggling and nonsensical. Yet, when you look at the laws of physics, quantum physics, string theory, and mathematics it's pretty much an inevitable conclusion.

My only belief from this that I feel intuitively is that my consiousness is a sort of homing beacon that redirects to other universe's. These universes can be compiled into a different style of dimensional arrangement than the specific ones in string theory. One is the 5th dimension where your consiousness is the soul deciding factor in a perceptibly infinite finite 4th dimensional world that starts and ends with your birth and death. Then the 6th dimension is a world where you're consiousness can essentially allow other consciousnesses in to change differing aspects of the 4th dimensional world, so we've essentially entered into a slightly different world and the 5th dimension would fit inside that 6th dimension and every different 6th dimension would have a 5th dimension of the finite amount of things that your consiousness can do within the 6th dimensional world created through the 4th dimensionally told actions of other consciousnesses.

I'm sure this is very confusing and difficult to understand I'll probably make a video on it.

Christian’s have a purpose in life, and we try to make most of our life as any other person would. We don’t want to go to heaven for the sake of eternity. Rather we want to go to heaven to be with Jesus. When God created each one of us we were given a purpose to fulfill.
