When I changed to router it would not connect with several equipment when it worked with my old sky Q . I had to get some engineers to sort others .I still can’t get Alexa dot or my more expensive canon printer . I talked to sky help as the signal was worse than before and eventually gave me a sky pod . It works but still not as good as sky Q . Wish we had never had it

Tried multiple times. Doesn’t work. We don’t have a phone. So can you do a guide without a phone please. Followed the instructions step by step but the hub just displays a red light and on the bit where it says it may take 20 minutes, it just doesn’t connect and says there’s an issue.

I don’t understand. It claims it’s an easy guide but it’s making me look and feel like a right flid right now

I've got sky max WiFi hub thing, but the ps4 keeps saying it's not connected and keeps losing signal, tv in sitting room works great, but sky said the router should connect anything in the property, I live in a bungalow

Had no working phone since I joined sky and they say there's an issue with the Sky Max hub, stop sending them out then. I have had no landline for a week now, just been told to wait another 95 hours for someone to call me back.

Why in the hell os it impossible to do basic things like split the SSID bands (I like to split off 2.4 for IoT devices that won't connect if the 2.4 and 5ghz bands have the same SSID.
And even worse you can't turn off the built DHCP server, if Id plugged that into my network it would have crashed more times than a ZX81.
You either have to buy an expensive managed switch to block the DHCP port or do what I did....I ended up giving the DHCP only 2 addresses it could lease outside of the main DHCP range I use and set the lease time to forever, connected 2 vm's that got the leases and now I can connect whatever I want to the network, it looks at the sky router...fails...looks for another DHCP server and works.
This is an insane way around the issues and isn't without problems but sky's dumbed down max (should be called min because it allows less config than ever, it truely is tje dumbest router Ive ever used) has forced this on me.
Please AVOID this horrid device if you can.
Oh and if you phine up asking for help with these issues the bloke will just slam the phone down on you after going around in circles for half an hour.

Sky needs to stop this nonsense. Why can’t I change my ssid from the router portal? Worse, I have to plug the damn thing for hours for me to be able to see it in MySky so I can change my ssid. During that time I cannot connect to the baby monitor that needs WiFi nor to the security system which also needs WiFi. Should I change all those to your new random name sky? Why change what was working.

This hub is stupid first one sent back changed to virgin changed back to sky when was told would add credit the ammount what should have been added wasnt because was apparantly has a gift from virgin media because wasnt told was a two month in advance payment or what estimated cost would be eventualy changed over back to sky again the wifi max is makeing a clicking noise black hub did the exact same until changed to wan only when is connected to ont stops the hub searching dsl stops the clicking noise the white hub does the exact same cant change to wan only cant even change wifi speed is wifi 6 cant change channels because is read only cant change hrtz because is read only & if change security firewall to high nat type fails best open nat what includes firewall is upnp found what is in advanced setting discovered devicers still cant use nat found when is high security dont even know if sheild protects if is in dmz dont even know what the idea of this hub was
