My sister lives in Port Angeles. I've hiked the Olympics and been to the beaches he talked about. Luckily never had any encounters.

I also lived in NW Arkansas. I've hiked solo in AK, WA, OR, CA, CO, and NV, but something about those Ozark woods gave me the creeps. No idea why.

Anyway, love the format of hearing these encounters straight from the people who experienced them!
