I loved how you progressed in the first game. You start out scurrying for shelter as soon as the sun set and working you ass off to complete that one sidequest because it gives you a dinkly little pistol. By the end of the game though, youre doing Daredevil- tier parkour in the dead of night, blasting entire hordes with legendary shotguns. That may be how free roam action games often go but it was really satisfying in Dying Light.

fun fact, you can also leave harran if you are climbing on top of the tower on top of the bridge, and you crouch walk on the pillars that lead to this bridge, I've done it, it's very slow, you have to be ultra careful, but it does work, you have to gently tap W and stay in the center

(fun fact, this way of moving upwards on things works in DL 2 as well, it lets you skip massive parts of some story parkour segments)

Those are some awesome finds. I remember me and my friends fooling around the invisible platform on top of that bridge. We used to hang around in there and jump to our deaths while exploring, lol.

There's also a glitch that I found where if u do certain thing ur grappling hook will get attached to ur weapon and if u dodge on any wall you'll go through it

i remember finding very few of these spots back then, i showed one spot to my online friend's. when you meet one of the doctors or scientist at his zombie infested base at his room door. you can skip going back through all the zombies and just walk on top of the ceiling. i don't know if this still works. maybe in a older version of the game?
