Watching this just kills me inside, this young
man gone, what a waste of a beautiful man.
I was 7 years old in Sydney Australia.

This interview took place in Sept of 67, he was KIA just 3 months later, on Dec 6, 1967. RIP Garland, and thank you for your service, and sacrifice.

Marines up on the DMZ were 'seeing the elephant'. Read some Keith William Nolan books. Magnificent Bastards or Operation Buffalo. Hard Core.

He was killed later that same day unfortunately

Just think ... if he claimed bones spurs, like our former "Commander in Chief" did, he could have avoided all service, like our former "Commander in Chief" did! All the pain, loss, and grief. Poof! Never happened! Just golf, golf and more golf, on the bone spurs!!
