as a student in a trade school for automotive and a Milwaukee user, drills aren't used as much in my profession however when one is needed usually the smaller compact version is what's needed

This brings me back to the chargers. Yes, m12 for tight spaces, m18 for more power. Hence, the m18/m12 charger being the flagship of chargers. The stand-alone m12 charger can go kick rocks! 😂

Funny thing is that’s the whole reason I added the M12 tools to my collection as I couldn’t fit the tool and me into a crawl space when doing repairs and so far it’s all worked out

I’ve always been a Dewalt guy and I just recently bought the Milwaukee M12 drill/impact combo because I wanted something that’s very compact and my boy who’s always been a Milwaukee guy said to me, this is just the beginning…

I’m an industrial mechanic and work on thermoforms and extruders and basic quality improvements every now and then, the M12 platform is really all I need in 99% of issues, maybe once a month I’ll run into an issue that requires something crazy like a M18 high torque

Try driving #4 screws with an 18 volt driver. The 12 volt tools can be dialed down much easier. I use the 12 volt tools for installing hardware in my woodworking.

I love my m12 brushless. It will even do some heavy duty work, but will get hotter faster than the M18. Completely agree with this video.

I still use a lot of M2 tools. The 18 is good but for some reason, I’m going back to the 12.🧐🤔😎

Thank you for another Great Video 👍 I agree with you, both the M12 and M18 have their places. Personally, I like M12, it's lighter and the profile is smaller and is easier to get into more places. The M18 is heavier and the profile is larger, making it harder to use in tight places. Again thank you 👌

My m12 drill dosent seem to have a problem pushing a 5/8 drill bit through 1/2" steel, so i see no need to get the m18

I use dewalt 18v. Never had an issue with space. Bigger batteries is about run time so you keep your work flow going.

I use M12 impact witg an M18 drill.
I never touch my M18 impact and my M12 drill burnt out.
