It's so amazing how time flies. I wish Lolly was still on Earth. I feel that the world would be a better place. His spirit lives in the stars and in his words.

I went to high school with Lolly and Pat who were then Vasquez. This was in 1956-59. There would be talent shows and Lolly would do spot-on renditions of Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis. Pat was not into music then. Girls were crazy over Lolly.

I first saw Redbone when a mall in New Jersey opened. was a big concert and Redbone was there. I then saw Lolly. Had the biggest crush on him. My favorite since then

I was sooo much in love with Lolly when I was a young teen. Such a beautiful man. ❤

They were all beautiful men. I love the fact that Lilly was the main singer, yet never took center stage. Nobody can compare to Lolly. Rest up Sir, you've earned the rest. Thank you, Barbara for sharing.

My heart aches for Lolly. He's still fresh in my mind as an outstanding musician and songwriter. He knows that we all still love and cherish him.

RIP. The second part of his solo is interesting. He goes to a jazz fusion style and at times remembers the classic "Donna Lee" by Charlie Parker. He didn't stop in time. Rest in peace, Lolly.
