If your computer is running slow or you are noticing some unusual activities then the possibility is your system has been infected with Spyware. Spyware is a malicious software that can collect information about you or can change some settings on your PC. Let see, how we can know if any Spyware is present on our PC.
1. Click on the search bar at the bottom right on your desktop screen.
2. Type “cmd”, and from the search result. Right-click on the Command Prompt app.
3. From the drop-down list, click on the Run as administrator option.
4. Click on the Yes button in the confirmation box.
5. In the Command Prompt window, type netstat space –b and press Enter key on your keyboard.
6. This will show a list of Active Connections.
7. If you have noticed that any suspected process or port is running. Then search it on Google, if someone has faced the same issue and has resolved it. Then follow their steps.
8. Be careful, if you are not sure about the suspected malicious process, then it is better to leave it as it is. Because, if you will remove or change some settings on an unknown file, then your software may corrupt or your software may not work properly.
9. Close the Command Prompt window.
10. Right-click on the Taskbar at the bottom.
11. From the drop-down menu list, click on the Task Manager option.
12. Scroll down and try to locate if any bad process is running in the Process tab.
13. For demo purposes, I am right-clicking on this “wusvcs” process name.
14. From the drop-down list, click on the “Open file location”.
15. This will open a file location with selected running bad process files.
16. Right-click on the file name, and click on the Delete option to remove that file.
17. Close the opened windows.
18. Now, remove the deleted file from Recycle Bin.
19. Just right-click on the Recycle Bin icon, and from the drop-down list.
20. Click on the Empty Recycle Bin option.
21. Click on the Yes button to permanently delete the bad file from your PC.

half a year ago my friend added me into a group chat with some random person, i didnt trust the random person at first, later then my friend told me to click on a link that was sent by the random person, i didnt want to click on it but i trusted my friend and then the random person got access to my pc and started taking screen shots of every single info i got, but luckily all of my info was connected to my special email that is not on the pc, after he got accesses i immediately formatted my pc, and changed my cpu, to this point i have no idea if he's still watching or not, please tell me if he can still watch my pc.

When I opened my laptop today just for a second there was a little smartphone(iPhone) on my screen right about where the Windows logo is in this video. I couldn't make up any more details because it disappeared in just 2 seconds. Anyone any thoughts if this might have been any spyware or on what it might have been?

It's easy. If you are running Microsoft Windows then you have spyware on your computer. Microsoft sees you as an asset to be squeezed for data it can use and sell. This is why they don't allow you full control of your own computer.

The answer is to run free (as in freedom) software such as GNU/Linux (and its panoply of free software), where you can run and adapt the software as you see fit and share it with other people ... and no spyware.
