Fish and seafood has become very contaminated and longer living, larger fish have a high toxic build up heavy metals (like mercury) and chemicals making them harmful to our health. The top 3 fish you should avoid are:
* Shark
* Swordfish
* Tilefish
Fourth option would be large, longer living tunas which can also be high in mercury and other toxins.
Many fish and seafood options are very healthy and great to consume on a regular basis. These are my 3 favorites I consume on a weekly basis, but there are many other excellent options to choose from!
* Salmon
* Sardines
* Mahi Mahi
Be sure that you are eating wild-caught fish, avoid farm-raised fish which are very harmful.
