sometimes it is a hit or miss when you ask for a slight modification in DALL-E ...it may just redo the entire image or add something that wasn't there. For example I may say "Can you give me the full body " it will redo the entire subject character. However, sometimes if I just say ' now have her do this...' it will not redo the whole image. It's time-consuming sometimes.

I'm just about to try Adobe Firefly and noticed that in they usage rules they have this statement - While generative AI features are in beta, all generated output is for personal use only and cannot be used commercially.

So my understanding is that the generated images can't be used on the commercial products such as tshirts etc. Am I right?

Overall, Midjourney is still on top. The only real weakness it has is text generation.. if they fix that, there isn't even any contest anymore.

just a note I think that commercial use policy is only for dalle in chat gpt, probably because it is only available to paid accounts. Bing image creator is still showing non commercial use only in their terms of use.

Midjourney's great new update is the upscaler. It's nice finally being able to see all my previous generations large in and total clarity. And also humans look the best in Midjourney.
But Dall-E overall just looks amazing *and* it listens nearly perfectly to your prompts.

I think if Midjourney can somehow make a model that's better at interpreting your prompts, can spell, and develops UI then it can get back on top.

All this won't matter in a year or two when most anyone who is looking for a side hustle will attempt to easily create images/art then try to sell on many platforms (ETSY, Shopify POD, etc.)... and the numbers will be in the 100K's +. The only ones making $$$ will be OpenAI, Etsy, Shopify and the other AI generating companies.

An amazing time for AI art. I've been playing with text-to-vector for about a week now and it's not perfect yet, but it's really damn good for the initial release. I've made some pretty dope art with it and it was very fast. I also tinkered with Firefly's new model to recreate images I had made in Midjourney for some of my products and it is substantially easier to get the designs and layouts I want. The quality was better on most of them, too. If they release stealth mode, custom ratios, and arrays I'll test it even more *fingers crossed*. I stopped using Dall-e a while back bc I couldn't get the results I wanted, but I did love the amount of control it gives you. Definitely giving v3 a shot this weekend.

Adobe firefly makes the hands have multiple digits, and other weird anamolies. I have gotten some weird results 😂 I actually like them.
