$23.50 per shirt - or $53, 110 as shown is revenue not profit. If the shirt costs+shipping+tax+website maintenance+card/transaction fees cost say $23 then you made a 50 cent profit or about $36 in the prior month. I realize my numbers might be extreme, but you have to show the whole revenue AND profit margin.

You never mention that there are hundreds of thousands of results in the Etsy tshirts listings. 99% of people who put effort into doing what you suggest will lose money and time trying to do what you suggest.

I would like to see what is left after all the expenses. Etsy takes a cut of each sale, the T-shirts cost money, too plus subscriptions to several ai tools…I guess it doesn’t sound as great then anymore

Have any of you ever heard of supply and demand, this is why I keep saying AI isn't for our benefit but to our detriment, do I believe you can make money, sure, people on Etsy can have thousands of downloads on their designs, regardless they work hard for it.

The problem is not making designs that are good, great etc… especially with MidJourney. The problem is…and why it’s difficult to make 100, 300, 900 a day…is getting people to buy it….many people…each day. Still seems like the people making 900 a day is YouTubers saying you you can make 900 a day

I had over 100 designs and 3 years with Redbubble. I uploaded 3 designs after watching similar videos. I used midjourney. As i uploaded my 3rd design my account was SUSPENDED. All within less than 30mins.of my first AI upload.
I fear uploading anything to Merch by Amazon in case tue same happens again.
No way everyone can copy and paste and make this kind of money.
I think tye most money made with side hustles is from people talking about side hustles. 😮

FYI. there are no free trials for midjourney now date 10.5.2023. the cost is $10 per month or $96 per year for basic plan. Good point to know before spending time on this video.

Instead of creating a vector I usually turn the image into an SVG, and then resize it in photoshop.

Thank you for this! but i noticed when you remove background it reduces the file size. Do i upscale the images with the removed background?
