Population Growth: Other Models: Seasonal Growth: Example 1: Part B
Показать описание
In this video I go over part B of Example 1 on the Seasonal Growth population model video series, and this time plot the seasonal growth population model derived from my last video. I plot the model for varying values of the 3 constants in the model to see how the solution changes. I also look at the population as time approaches infinity and determine that this limit does not exist because of the periodic nature of the model, which involves a trigonometric element to it, thus the population fluctuates with time. In the logistic model, on the other hand, the population approaches a limit value, known as the carrying capacity. This is a very interesting video analyzing the trig function effect on modeling population growth while accounting for seasonal-growth, so make sure to watch this video!
