Population Growth: Other Models: Harvesting: Example 1 Part 2

In this video I go over part 2 of the Example 1 video on other models of population growth, which accounted for the harvesting, or catching of fish in modeling a fish population. This part of the example involves solving the solution to the differential equation model explicitly and comparing the results with that obtained graphically, through the use of direction fields, in part 1. This is a very interesting video on just how tedious and labor-intensive the derivation of the explicit solution becomes when modifying the logistic equation even by adding a simple constant to the equation. So follow through the entire derivation if you can because it will be a great way to learn how many mathematical concepts come together!

I don't always model fish populations but when I do the derivation is very extensive but worth following through it all ;)

Thanks! it was really clear how you solve it, and the mathematical tools that you used to simplify the equation.

why does your first bracket start with 250 and not 750? because when starting with 750 i get a different answer
