Arknights Story Summarized | A Walk in the Dust - The Story of Kal'tsit's Journey

Preluding Lights just came out yesterday morning and I'm working on it as we speak (type). In the meantime, enjoy this road trip with our lovely green cat.

This Arknights lore video will cover the story and lore of the event A Walk in the Dust. Do note that names and terminology are subject to change when the official translation is released.

Kal'tsit is everyone's favourite green cat because Kal'tsit is the only green cat.

Talking about Kal'tsit always gave me chills, her lore are most interesting stuff imo, i keep wondering what is she really and why did she take on such a heavy responsibility.

A little unrelated(I suppose) but the boss of this event, "Emperor's Blade" actually shows up in Chapter 8. Actually, 2 of them in R8-11. But you don't get to fight them of course as they only exist to debuff Talulah and then they leave. They're even invincible so you can't damage them in any way. But what's most bizarre is that despite their invincibility, they have HUGE stats, even stronger than the boss one in WD. For reference...
R8-11 Blades have 50k HP, 3K defense, and 90 RES
The one from WD only has 28K HP, 400 Def, and 40 RES

Despite all the memes around Passenger, still gotta say that Passenger wants to meet Kaltsit not bcz of love love issue, srsly .

After Passenger had done all his revenge for his family, Passenger finds himself lost in the path, since he has no other goals to accomplish to motivate him stand alive. Old Ising has went to search for the lost kingdom in his long lost memory, Passenger had nothing left, which is why Dr. Kaltsit comes into his mind. As you know, Kaltsit is like a mentor of Passenger when he is still young. Although Passenger doesn't really like Kaltsit, but he had to agree that she is the one who brings him to Old Ising, allowing him to learn about the black market there and accomplish his revenge. So now the revenge is done, Passenger eagers to find Kaltsit to answer his question about his life, and ofc as expected, Kaltsit gives more question and thoughts about life to Passenger to think and consider rather than simply giving a solution for him. In Kaltsit standpoint, Passenger is still young, and shall have more goals to make and achieve rather than being a killing machine craving for wars and revenge.

simply talking about Passenger cz i am quite sick of some people randomly making Kaltsit x Passenger CP, like srsly, Kaltsit is mine (doge) If the time comes where Passenger goes confess to Kaltsit i would like to have a match with Passenger and punch him badly. (joke)

Thank you for summarizing the lore in this event. I was really hyped to learn about Kal'tsit's history but I really don't have the time to fully read it all and understand the details that connect each other because of online classes. Now I'm really intrigued on Dokutah's history and Kal'tsit's involvement in other past events or her origins.

There's a literal Demon in AK universe? There's a chance of us fighting Emperor's Blade but way stronger and possibly many? With the VI-7 stage having 5 different bosses in a single stage, sounds like it's not entirely impossible.

I just finished reading this event and I gotta that it's really amazing! I'm soooo glad Passenger managed to reunite with Kal after so many years. Seeing what she's being doing for long, wandering from place to place, witnessing war after war. I reaaaally wanted to know her answer to Passenger's question but I guess we will have to live with this for now. Again, great story and great characters introduced here, for sure one of my favorite events so far!
