I love that you didn't shy away from showing the difficult parts of your run. It's so important for others to realise they're not alone if they struggle sometimes- the training is definitely part physical and part mental! I see a marathon PB on the cards for you, Sarah, wishing you a great race 💪

Runna is my favourite app. I dont usually stick with fitness apps but I truly love it. I am new to running after being diagnosed with MS. I completed my first 6km yesterday after not even being able to run for 30 secs at the start of the year without dying 😅😂 and I have a 10km race in June. Being able to run and move my body is such a privilege for me and I push myself through some of my hardest runs because if one day its no longer possible for me I will be proud of all the times I could and I did ❤

I really like the mantra from Mo where you "choose a goal and then grow into the person that you need to be to achieve it". I'm going to keep that in mind for my first half marathon this fall! Cheering you on from Toronto, Canada -- go Sarah go!

Your pace is ridiculous! I'm trying to hold that for a 5k and here you are crushing it on a long run while talking through it. Absolute grit.

You've got this Sarah! When you stopped I just kept saying "Don't cry don't cry don't cry!"

You did incredibly well!

I did my first run in years on Tuesday after watching your videos. 30 minutes on the treadmill, 2.7 miles, no walking. Aching like mad still 😂 but I was super happy. You have inspired me.

Very impressive to overcome ur fears! I started running last year and this channel played a very big role in finding my running confidence (ongoing😂). I did a 5k (32 mins) and 10k last year. And now signed up for 5k, 7.5k, 2x 10ks and... my very first half marathon in September. So thank all of u for especially showing the struggles aswell and providing so much information. Greetings from Germany.

Thank you for showing the reality of the training, the ups and the downs. Training is not just the physical but also the mental journey. In a world of social media where we only show the highs is great to see the highs and lows of the run and how you pushed through and succeeded. Well done and thank you. Wishing you well on race day

That's an incredible effort! I've been using the Runna app for about a year now and I really find their long runs tough! So much can affect training runs as you well know but the excitement of race day will help get you through the mental hurdles I'm sure. I've set myself the ambitious goal of running a sub 90 min half marathon before I'm 40 (September 2025) hoping to run a 1:35 in Newcastle this year. Good luck and you've got this.

I knew I could run my first marathon. As a slow runner, I was worried I wouldn't be able to do it in the 6.5 hours. Well, I ran the distance with lots of mistakes in 6 hours 35 mins. I now know I can do it quicker than that as I will not be making those mistakes as I was in pain most of time which caused me to run much slower, but I wasn't giving up.

Now that I have done it, I can't wait for May.

You can do it Sarah! It is important to hydrate and keep moving even if it is walking.

As a fellow Sara, I cannot express how much you have motivated me to keep on pushing to achieve my goals, recently I ran my first ever half marathon and your videos have helped me improve in every way possible, not just on running but also balancing my life with this sport that I have come to love. Tank you Sarah, keep on being wonderful and inspiring <3

"Is it really a long run if you don't have a break down?" That happens to me almost every time. It's cathartic in the release it gives you to run like that for that length. It hurts, but you never regret it. Nice work, Sarah.

Excellent long-run workout, well done! Your warmup pace is around my Half-marathon pace and your goal Marathon pace is my 10K goal pace. A sub-3:30 Marathon finish is definitely on the cards.

You are such an inspiration! Although you're paces are still quite a bit faster than what I can currently do, I hope that I will get there someday. Thank you for showing what realistic training looks like and not just a filtered version where everything is going smoothly all the time. I will definitely be thinking about you on race day and hope you will crush everything you've been working for!

A very inspirational video Sarah for all of us when we 'hit the wall' and think we can't go any further. As you said in your commentary, this will stand you in great stead for the London
Marathon and I know, we will all be wishing you on. Have a great day.
