What is your take on deadheading petunias. I’ve always been told to pinch off the spent blooms but as a result of the sticky, time-consuming mess, I’d rather not have petunias at all. If all I have to do it cut back, easy-peasy!

My petunias always get leggy and the center of the plant is bare. 😢

Having problems when knowing when to water petunias in my flower bed and also to increase blooming. I looked at your video yesterday on pruning. I pruned them then I think I over watered them because they are not dead, but they are wilted. I have had them for about a month and a half and I don't have a lot of blooms. I also have marigolds in the flower bed also. There are not a lot of blooms from them but they are vibrant and doing much better than the petunias. This is my first time gardening and I don't think I am doing a great job. Please help. If can suggest the best flower for a beginner and also any suggestions for something I can do as far as taking care of my garden. I am not really able to bend down and get on the ground. These flower beds already existed when we bought the home so I wanted to put something in it to add to the curb appeal and I do not like bushes.
