Timeline | Rickie Fowler’s emotional journey to first win since 2019

At one point one of the most consistent stars on the PGA TOUR, Rickie Fowler made a lot of changes to his game during a four-year winless drought that saw him fall out of the top 100 in the Official World Golf Ranking. After some intense buildup that included some close calls, Fowler is back on top with a win at the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic.

This video does a great job at highlighting how difficult it is to win after a major mechanical swing change. Rickie completely changed the mechanics of his swing and didn't win again until three years later. This in part is what makes Tiger my overall GOAT, at the highest level of the sport he kept winning and winning tournaments through FOUR different swings...

He never quit. That takes some serious grit and determination. This wasn’t just a win for Rickie, it was a win for his whole team, and his family. Always been a big fan, and love seeing him at the top yet again.
