Yet another gem of podcast. a big big salute to you Dr Pal. Even though its past 10pm here in India..I could not stop watching until i fully completed it. I was really happy in knowing all interconnected with gut mind etc. Now heading off to sleep as in podcast doctor said 2 hours Break between 10pm to 4am 25 days in a year will do enough damage. 😂 I don't want that to happen.. just kidding... Every tip every discussion i made as a pointer in my book to review often to follow. Loads of love to your insights and the help you are doing to the mankind. ❤

Had pcod since puberty but no doctor explained what it is or how bad it can be and what consequences it could lead to nd kept on giving meds without explaining the prob not till I aged 23yrs.. Then I came across a good doctor who explained me abt the problem but yes I was on metformin nd pills till age 27 nd got married, quit meds nd fortunately got my periods naturally, a bit irregular but it was without meds and that's what was imp for me...
Never imagined that I would conceive naturally nd had told my husband as well but to our utter surprise I conceived naturally in February..
Now we eagerly waiting for our lil bundle of joy ❤

Being an Ayurvedic consultant... it's explained in Ayurveda that all of hormonal imbalance of modern science i.e thyroidism, PCOS, metabolic disorders come under category of stress induced..and main reason explained is ...चिंत्यानां अतिचिंतनात۔۔one who has a lot of stress and worries and anxieties!! And it causes the ras dhatu dushti...which in turn causes all these diseases!

Hi Dr. Pal. Thank you for this podcast with Dr. Anjali.
I am commenting here as I went through infertility (unexplained infertility) from 2014-2020. IUI- 2014 and IVF - 2016-2020. I was having many transfer failures. There was no Dr. PAL’s YouTube channel back then, now listening to this video, I totally agree that I got pregnant at age 35+, by eating from sunrise to sunset method(circadian rhythm) by not being aware of it at that time. I had to do it as my personal trainer was available only at 6.30am(2 days a week) . In turn becomes a habit every day. Please, just make this simple change, sleep. Listen at 18.11mins of this video.. this is the magic. Now I wish, I knew about it when I was younger.

My schoolmate is a gynaecologist. I went to her with irregular periods issue. She told me to avoid white rice and replace it with complex carbs for 3months. That was the only change i did, and it became regular. This video made me understand why it got fixed. Shared so that it may help others.

1. PCOS
2. how important is cooking my own food
3. strength training for women above 35 years. I run regularly. But strength training is something new for me.

I have pcos! I quit sugar, ate 1200 to 1400 kcal and got pregnant naturally after losing 9 kgs. Nothing fancy except home made food, yoga, weight training, and cycling! I was eating too less as a result of chronic stress. I fixed it and everything fell into place!

1:43:10 vasectomy is a very must topic dr.pal you should have a separate episode please. Even i cannot make it happen in my family after explaining myself how hard I'm going through with kids, household chores, emotional dramas from family side and no postpartum care after both my delivery I was all alone without any knowledge to take care of me and baby. In India they will just send you home after delivery nothing is thought in hospital. I was suffering to breastfeeding baby and so much of mental pressure this that. But leaving all this behind my body don't want any more of it. But still I cannot convince him for a vasectomy. So please do an episode on it and atleast some change you bring in this society and any single woman get benefitted is a great achievement.

Thanks for covering female health in an elaborate and informative manner ! The discussion on connecting mental health with female hormones and how things need to work in tandem is what everyone needs to hear ! In fact, it should be taught in school !! With all the influence that you have @Dr Pal, If you could lobby for it, that would be immensely helpful!!

Thank you, Dr. Pal, for bringing a very insightful podcast on women’s health and discussing everything about ovaries. It would have been even better if Dr. Anjali Kumar could have talked about ovarian cancer, which is often referred to as a silent killer.

I am a cancer survivor myself. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with advanced stage 2 ovarian cancer during my 4th month of pregnancy when I was just 24 years old. It was an incredibly tough journey—I underwent surgeries and chemotherapy both during and after pregnancy. With complete trust in our doctors and by God’s grace, both my child (now 13 years old) and I are doing great.

Dr. Pal, if you happen to see my comment, I kindly request you to consider discussing
ovarian cancer in more detail—its stages,
Cancer during pregnancy,
the safety of continuing pregnancy, chemotherapy during pregnancy, and baby growth during cancer treatment in general.
I truly believe that being aware of these issues is crucial and could help many people who might find themselves in similar situations. I might have lost my child if I hadn’t been in the hands of the right doctors.
