Seriously thank you so much. Idk why they thought the assistant would make it easier when it only makes it take more steps to do the same thing as just pressing the power button to click power off. You rock!!!

On TCL devices, it's Settings > Button & Gestures > Power key
Thank you for this video, by the way. I was in Google Assistant Settings for a while trying to find the fix not thinking Google would be dumb enough to make this a default in the main settings.

Thank you for this video. Although I couldn't find the "Additional Settings" on my phone, you led me to do a search for "Power Button" on the settings and I selected "Press and hold power button" and from there I ws able to disable this annoying setting.

Once again, thanks!

The only thing google assistant was useful to me was that I asked it how to remove itself from the power button 😂

what a hopeful video, the maker actually believed there is such a thing as general advice which can work in todays age. I couldnt find these settings on android 10. Google assistant randomnly sets alarms on my phone because it was on the power button and pressing that made it think I wanted an alarm. Now its waking me up at all hours, and there is no way to find these alarms and delete them or switch them off. Resetting phone doesnt even work, only switching off alarm volume, so basically I now need to get another phone or carry a seperate phone if I need an alarm. No they are not in alarms... Welcome to modern life where nobody can make anything which works or doesnt do crazy stuff !!!!
